iStock has opened the door for thousands of photographers to make a living from the work they love. I am one of those photogs, worked on the current site design.
Just ordered a Kodak Zi8 from Amazon for under $120. It's HD and has an external mic jack. I read some great reviews of it and it was PC mag's editor's choice. Also takes SD cards. The flips seemed great, but I link the expandable memory and ext mic input. Battery unfortunately are not standard AA or AAA batteries :-( I read it get about 90 minutes of battery life per charge - we will see.
I'm thinking about getting an ipad, but I shoot most pictures on my Canon EOS 550D in RAW (.cr2 format). Is the ipad compatible with this format, how do I view these pictures straight from my camera? I love your work, and videos. Tim
I actually don't know where you will find it, I got mine in a random camera store in San Fransisco, and have never been back. We don't even have any local Calumet distributors around here. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Since getting my iPhone 4, the Flip has stayed in the the drawer.
