Stalman Talks Photoshop: Basic color correction with the color balance tool

One of the easiest ways in Photoshop to fix the colors of your photo, using the color balance tool. This is a very basic approach to white balance and color correction, not my favorite way, but a good start in getting your head around it.

Watch Part 3 of this mini-series with Mike Lipsett, where we use the more advanced, but far more powerful approach to color using curves adjustment layers.

I love your videos. I am fairly new to photography and they've helped me a lot and are very informational. Can't wait for more videos!

Thanks a lot Dean, I'm trying to get them out as fast as I can, I've got a lot I want to talk about. Any specific things you'd like to hear about?

The best way to stay on top of the latest vids is to subscribe for free on iTunes http://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/stalman-talks-photography/id363627829 or follow me on twitter.com/stalman

Cool, I subscribed and followed!

A video on Lightroom would be cool...
One on how to sell your photos online and how you made a career out of your photography (something I'd love to do).
Oh and one on how come you prefer Canon over Nikon haha or your opinion on both of them.

But yeah I've read about photography online and seen other vids on photography and you just explain everything so well and simple...

You read my mind Dean, I've already got a few of these in the pipeline. Lightroom I will probably cover when the next version comes out.

Thanks!
